hey,i want to share wat l learnt from e sermon yesterday...i started to ponder on wat shirley had said of the true significance of Easter.indeed,it's important for us to think deeper on every Easter day.have we grown since the last Easter until now?i really learnt tt i shld not take Easter for granted. This Day tt God had died for us,it means tt we can now relate to God our feelings anytime,anywhere.i pray that e cg'll also treasure tis intimate r/ship we have with God.i also felt encouraged tt i am a powerful and victorious conquerer in Christ.Yeah.one of my application is to share the gospel with my frens b4 Easter,even if they can't come for svc.also.i wan to utilise e Easter invitation card fully.let's really work hard & see the fruits of our labour,not to forget our powerful weapon against the Satan,PRAYER!!Trust & it'll be given to us.=)ps.let's revive our blog.

and all their glory is like the flowers

the grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of the Lord stands forever. "

have been doing quite alot of reading of the bible. alot of people highlight their bibles. but i dont, coz i'm afraid it'll get messy and blahblahblahblah...

but yesterday, i decided to put all those excuses behind me and i highlighted the verses i really liked. and then i came across the above verse which struck me hard in the face.

indeed we're like grass. scattered over the face of the earth, so small, so insignificant, but very much important. we replenish oxygen, we are the diet of big animals like cows. we have our own special duties. and our glory are certainly like flowers. attractive and beautiful. and we take delight when people notice our glory, (in this case the flowers). we work so hard to cultivate those flowers so it'll look pretty. and we take so much pride when people comment on us, and when our flowers become so eye catching in a field of pure greenness

it appeals greatly to human senses, but it is all so so-called "insignificant" to God Almighty which created the universe, including the GRASS and the FLOWERS. yes, its a pretty sight. green grass and blooming flowers of all kinds, whats that cheng yu, when they zheng fang duo yan. and remember, God was the one who created flowers(in both the context of nature and now), not you. you chose to take too much pride in them and some even call them their own. but upon the step of a human being, all that flower, all that pride, all that beauty is just crushed. just upon a single footstep. from the biggest flower to the smallest flower, the greenest blade of grass to the diriest, yellowishiest, brownest blade of grass; everything crushes and is destroyed the moment a human set its foot on it.

my point is that: it is vulnerable and temporal.

(RANDOM: i need to expand my vocab okay, im so sick of the word 'temporal'.)

but the word of the lord is different. no matter how many people step on it, it will still be hold true and be uplifted. there will still be people following it, still be witnesses of it. and most importantly, it will last. because its the truth. when all else things seem to fade away, the living Word will stand. also because it is authentic. everyone may despise us, everyone may want to destroy us or mock at us, they may crush our spirit, cause us to fall, cause us to give in to temptations and to sins, but the Word will not be defeated. it will stay here. for generations to come, until the Day the Lord comes back.

so why hold on so much to cultivating self-glory? why mind so much about who's flowers are bigger than whose, who is greener than who? because at one step, you all puny little things will be gone. why not focus on something eternal. something that will last forever. something that will not be wavered by outside factors or by worldly happenings?

would you want to concentrate so much, sacrifice so much just to grow the world's most beautiful flower (not even close!), and then expose it to an inevitable destiny of being trampled on anytime? or would we want to channel more of our time and effort into meditating on something that will have a lasting impact and of eternal value (love this phrase) ? meditate and cultivate this thing that will not be just trampled on or have its value just go down the drain at one contact with (a small) disaster. (coz its only a footstep, so as to say)

even if we dont kana human step, just as the verse say, we will wither, and our flowers will fall. word of god says in

James 4:14
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

not only does the word of god talk about how temporal and how short our existence is, shakespeare does so too:

"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing."

are we ready to divert even more of our focus to something that will be priceless to every soul on earth and will have a strong, lasting and eternal impact on the world, something that will last even when we die, or do we want to continue to concentrate on individual self-achievement and glory which is not very important in the kingdom of god?

i dont have anything against growing flowers (self achievement and self glory), but, there are more important things to do!

will we let the urgent matters overtake the important matters?

if i can be like david and write such things, woah, can you imagine what i will do for O levels lit. HAHA. anyway i was just thinking, lets start doing good to ALL people CONSISTENTLY. not out of obligation, but out of compassion.

haha, okay, im not really making sense, anyway you get what im saying right.

proverbs 13:20

why do we allow ourselves to admit defeat to temptations and evil doings? the mind is stronger than the body, so saying that we kana tempt then cannot stand it, really no choice is NOT a valid excuse. doing good to everyone is a righteous and favourable thing, so what more do we who claim to love God have to show? do we let our sinful nature take over our lives? do we like to tear people down to build up our own egos? do we have the they-deserve-it mindset? do we not forgive and forget? or do we yearn to do otherwise to prove that something special lives within us?

Romans 14:15
"if your brother is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. do not by your eating destroy your brother for whom Christ died."

i really love this verse alot. (like to say it to my brother, haha!) as in seriously, when we do something to hurt other people, do we think that it is supposed to be, they asked for it or its predestinied, or its out of my control, or what? do we actually think that we are portraying God's love for his people (which is what we're trying to constantly do) by condemning them? do we think those people will get the right message about God's love?

even if you're a non-believer, you should still do good! the world is only evil because the people in it decides to be evil. think about it. people dominate the world now. if everyone is good, the world will be good too right? if you decide not to change and enjoy to continue to live in an evil world, i think you need to go see psychiatrist.

since Jesus forgave our sins, we should forgive other people's sins too. even God so high can look past our wrongs, you who are a teeny weeny human being will be considered uberly petty if you continue to bear grudges. makes sense?

Galatians 6:9
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

i think the key here is "if we do not give up." as this week continues, many of us may be sick of doing good to people who wrong us, people who are senseless and irritating, or just out there to find fault with you. but if we perservere and not let the tsktsk devil get to us, i guess we'll really be alright.

anyway, if you havent really been doing good, its a good time to start so. saying a few more "thank you"s or "welcome"s or opening the door for your mum, or helping some old lady carry heavy bags of groceries or mending broken relations or encouraging someone who's feeling down may be a good way to start or just letting anyone know you care. the more we do, it changes from a chore to a habit. we dont have to be very ambitious like tomorrow go and build some orphanage or what. just start small and build up from it. because God sees your heart, before the deeds.

this phrase really struck me. we must really grow from glory to glory, people. we're not gonna be stuck here anymore aye? we hit 17 last week for svc attendance, but kiddos, what we're gunning for is 17 committed and passionate people on fire for God!

i see you girls working real hard, and i'm very encouraged. :) seriously, it makes me smile every time i think about it; jeslyn and her silly antics, chloe and her seriousness, meirong and her enthusiasm, clarice and her conviction, etc. you girls really tough it out yeah? but hey, we can't stop just yet 'cause this stop isn't ours. we've still a few more stops to go, let's lengthen our strides and start running again.

girls! let's do our very best before our end years hit, to really do our bestest best. because the time has come, to show the world His' love. :D btw, yeah like what clarice said in the tagboard, i'm excited for cg! :)

Imagine coming to school and being greeted by the traffic police; namely your own caregroup members.

Imagine them smirking at you.

Imagine standing in the middle of the hardcourt, and all around you are people doing their morning QT.

Imagine the head of the student council saying,"Five minutes left before assembly starts. Get on with your QT."

Imagine people having worship from one end of the hardcourt to the other end.

Imagine walking up the stairs and seeing your cg member. You stopped to talk and promptly lost track of time.

Imagine being bored silly in class, and seeing your cg member walking past made you smile.

Imagine walking down the corridor to the canteen, and you are greeted by your cg members with their different recess groups.

Imagine then, the knowing smiles.

Imagine the flung open doors at the end of the school day, and people rushing to their cg destination.

Imagine your CL asking, "Hey, can we combine games today?"

Imagine looking across to the special room area, and seeing all the different banners promoting different cgs' MCG.

Imagine having praise and worship at the roof top directly opposite the third floor study block.

Imagine having a YHope study group.

Imagine the caregroup joining the school events, as a separate entity other than the identity we have in our class and house.

Imagine close friends from every batch.

Imagine having someone coming up to you, and asking if she can come to Hope, cos she's heard so much about it.

Imagine celebrating birthdays, with different ideas but one common theme, 'God's beloved.'

Imagine having rugby, captain's ball, badminton, hockey, floorball, netball, volleyball, soccer, basketball matches.

Imagine Anagram, or our own band performing in the Auditorium.

Imagine the caregroup being the influential people in school.

Imagine. The possibilities. You are part of the school, but you belong to an organization much bigger than that. You belong to this company called the Kingdom of God.

urgency for lost souls

heyhey,
today's prayer meet was really an inspiring one.i felt tt Holy Spirit was tugging me when i heard abt hw pple outside e KOG means so much to God!!it seems to remind me hw fortunate and blessed i am in tis Family.We really have to go all out to outreach to pple to tell them tis joy in our heart tt we can't contain!!
Service also impacted me a lot today,although it ended early today..It really strike me so hard when Pastor Jeff says e auditorium is only half-filled!i was thinking how can it be,there must be much more than tat.i could sense tt God was telling us to have a sense of Urgency and Burning Passion and even Desperation..
Can u imagine how God can use us powerfully if we're dsesperate and crazy for Him??yeah,tt's e spirit=)The KOG must advance,these few months are all abt whole-hearted commitments, growth as a cg and personal one..So,let's all not give up!!When we're weak,God is strong.He's our source of strength!Be crazy for Jesus and have breakthroughs in our life..meirong^^

hey yo everyone,i really want to encourage everyone to continue to walk strong with God.it has been a long while since we have ever chiong for Him very much...maybe for me i noe.but it's ok.i'll no longer stay the same way for God,i want to put on His lenses to see other pple.i believe we can impact so many pple's life through God and the way how we're living!so dun ever give up serving God!i believe those who're struggling very hard in their life,should go take a short break..See wat God has prepared for them and continue this race more lifely and enthusiastically.Yeah,tt's wat i did these few days since i couldn't go out.Thank God,He spoke to me.Juz want to share to u guys,He told me to put everything i learnt into gd practice.umm,i feel tt i can really rely more on Him when i dun feel like doing things tt i should do..so let's share this same vision together in Stc,17 by 17 July..isn't tt cool,really can't wait for tt to happen!!God come and send REVIVAL in this dry land,make it into a one tt'll bear Fruits a hundred fold and more!!!!!

Yo! I am really blessed to attend the church camp. So cool! Im sure that we have learnt lotz of stuff during the camp. Most of us even have breakthroughs in this camp. Haha! Really wanna thank God for the fire to burn inside me again. I have many breakthroughs during the camp. God gave me an opportunity to get to know the 2 special girls from hope penang. I was really inspired by their eagerness to spread the gospel to the whole of penang. Initially, I thought they both were like at our age. However, they were not. Linda is 20 and cynthia is 21!! Can u believe it? But they look so small size in camp… weird..

Haha! I was quite bored as I usually got nothing to do during free time. Then I went to their rooms frequently to talk to them. They were always busy. Anyway, they actually washed their clothes at the sink. Wow! So independent! Cool man! I think it was really God’s plan that they were in my games group. I talked to them. We shared about the differences between penang and s’pore. We also shared abt our lives: how and when we got to noe God. So cool! But I was shocked when I heard that hope penang has only 10+ ppl. So I wrote e card for them during free time. That was when weiting asked me to come into meirong’s room but I replied I have better things to do. Haha! God is really a cool God lor! I didn’t expect to gain 2new penpals. This is my very first time being so close to ppl in other countries. thank God for them! We r going to keep in touch even after e camp. I can see that they learnt a lot…

just a follow up to the post i posted earlier. forgot to add in some stuffs.

guess what. i've learnt that having the right atttitude for God's work's important too. faced a long period of testing from the Lord over some friendship stuff. the youknowho. rmb at that time i was asking why God had to do this to me. and meirong sent me a encouragement card and she gave me a verse and said it was just random but it enlightened me- james 4:3.

and also peiyi was talking to me abt it. so yeah. now i've finally decided to commit myself wholly unto the Lord and guess what, because im doing it for the right reasons God has blessed me and restored my friendship with this someone. hey people guess what. you wont believe this man. i dont even believe it myself. haha.

youknow. its like we're all back from camp and yeah, we all got refreshed and stuff. i went to eat lunch, then went home. typed some stuff, then went to sleep, went to tuition, came back (abt 10.30pm+) and typed more stuff haha. then suddennly i feel like listening to some praise/worship songs and just nice meirong was online so i told her to send me some. at first she cannot find. so i was rather disappointed. but later, she send me like 23412419 songs please!

anyway was listening listening. then suddenly my friend. this guy, he was my primary school classmate and we used to be so close until he had to migrate to america to study. so yeah. he talked to me and was like asking why the hell i still awake now. its like abt 1.45am+ then we started to talk talk talk abt all the crap...from english homework to holidays to languages, to appearances then tuition, ambition and all that. then suddenly i heard God telling me to share Christ with him.

me: huh? me? here on msn?!
God: in camp you asked me to use you what.

then i was like thinking how to start like say what. then i just say "are you a christian" even though i know he's not. then i ask him about his spiritual life...and he say he dun have. haha. i was so worried that he would think im some spiritual freak but God keep telling me to dont care and share. so i did. and that time i was playing some worship song so the atmosphere was slightly there. he told me his aunt and uncle were christian while the rest of his family are buddhist. then his aunt and uncle couldnt tell him why they converted and he suspect that its because they convert to be "fashionable". so sad right.

then he say he hate to be bugged to convert. then once i saw that im like "shit, god how?!?!?" later he hate me.. anyway then he was telling me one day he walking on the road and a old woman took out a bible and bugged him to convert so he dun like. then its like we've been like talking about all those surface stuff and suddenly god talk to me "hey! start to share about Me! dont beat arnd the bush!" then i also dunno what to say so i somehow just managed to ask him whether he want me to explain...i was so scared that he'll say no or like "sry gtg. bye!" or smth like that. but he dint! he said he'll love to hear abt it. and he told me he read a bible and dun understand.

i was like, oh man, God. you better help me later i dunno what to say. and i guess God really did. all the lessons from the camp helped and everything. so i started to talk abt genesis like the creation of the world, then adam and eve... i was like thinking, God, must i go into abraham and isaac and jacob and joseph and moses all that?!?!? but i never lah. haha. that was abt like 2.40am++. but i was wide awake.

hahaha. but nevertheless, i tried to answer to the best of my ability. and all those ancient stuff abt the bible which was buried in my brain all surfaced and i practiced WORD OF WISDOM =D !

he asked me alot of questions like jesus is the son of God, not God, so i had to tell me him about God, jesus and holy spirit being one thing... so thank God that i learnt who the spirit was in the camp. it was like 3am when i started to talk about the crucification. ITS DAMN SCARY I TELL YOU. and its like everyone's sleeping at home. and im the only one awake. i turned on praise song so its slightly louder to cover..other noises. and there were so many flying insects! and its like 3am. someone said jesus was crucified at 3am or 3pm. and right then i was sharing about it!!! AND I WAS DAMN FREAKED OUT PLEASE! so coincidental. then i dun dare to look anywhere else just kept sharing. eeek. damn scary.

he asked me alot of hard to answer questions like why did jesus pay for their sins like, he has no one to pay to and everything coz he's god too. and everything aiyo. but the spirit was with me so yeah. i was doing well. then suddenly we were talking about baptism and stuff. yeah. i dunno if he was really interested or he was just like ying chou me or smth lah. he asked me how does one get a baptism? im like...errrrr..churches organise water baptism and everyone who wanna go will go.

hahahahhahHAHAHAHhahah

then i went on about the bible again. about resseurection and all that. great commision and all that. and the great commision really cleared his doubts. so yeah, he said now he knows why he has been approached. he used to think those people were just annoying. i felt soooo wow when he said

then i share abt eternal life and judgement day... then guess what- he told me that he heard some christian songs and dun really understand. so guess what! i think God really planned everything well. meirong's songs came in time! it was about 3.30am+, and i sent him one way. and its like ultra big 5000k+ and i was like wanting to sleep alrdy and the transfer rate was slow, i was like Oh, God!!! but i perservered on... isnt it amazing?! if i hadnt asked for the songs from meirong i wouldnt have anything to share! God is great!

and i told him that it was really nice that he'll listen to me. coz im not like very good or anything but yeah. he still sorta understands and said

wow. what joy! he agreed to let me bring him to church when he comes back from a short break. so yeah. praise God. havent met him for a long time. then we went on abt random stuff and FINALLY transfer finished and he told me the song was not bad but that it repeats itself too much. i said coz its the chorus. HAHA. then he told me he's listening to taking back sunday and he did smth i hoped he wouldnt do but i know he will - he sent me the song. AND ITS LIKE THE TRANSFER RATE WAS SLOW ! and i wanted to sleep! but i perservered on so yeah. and guess what! like left 500k, it said TRANSFER FAILED. like what the hell right! so much for perservering!!!

anyway before he sent me again, i quickly said i needed to sleep. that was like 4am+. yeah. can you imagine. 1am+ talk to 4am+. and that 3am crucification thing. wooo. i was like, finally.

you know what actually i dont have the gift of evangelism, in fact its arnd the bottom of my list but God helped me and gave me a breakthrough! amen! people always say they find joy in serving God, but i never really understood it. coz i always thought a servant was like, youknow. and i have lots of pride and ego sometimes so yeah, i find it kinda challenging to humble myself and serve Him, but guess what! i did it in the end! praise God! and i reallly really dunno why but i felt so much joy sharing. i had my door closed, so when i opened it to go to kitchen to get some water i was so scared some angel would stand at the door to tell me stuff. but i opened the door and it was all darkness. HAHA. random yes i know.

anyway yeah. God changed me, so He can change you too! have faith!

im waiting for the day- when my that friend stands in the front of nexus, saying the Sinner's prayer. and i know, if God can make me evangelise ON MSN, He can make my friend convert, and soon enough, HE will be the one bugging people to convert. AMEN!

God also gave me a picture- my PBL group, before we discuss and do the work we said a prayer, after we finished working, we said a prayer to thank God for the time and everything. isn't it great? imagine every lesson in school, before the lesson starts, the teacher initiates everyone to pray, and the whole class starts to pray in the Spirit?

hi.. its been so long since i blog on this blog.... haha! i m so happy and grateful that God has answered my prayers!! yeah! the person tat has been absent for 2 weeks has come back to school today!! yeah! im so happy! thank God for bringing my frined back to school to learn and have fun in school. yo ppl!efl has been such a blessing to me! we had so much fun!i have learnt so much during these 3 days of efl.i am so inspired by brother albert's life story.it is so cool lah.it's like an encouragement to me.i really can sympatise with him.haha!i actually wrote the letter&gave it to my parents.they are actually quite touched about what i wrote..i even feel that God is telling me sth through all these ppl- facilitators.now,i even get to know andrew who is in among those who cleared into the 2nd round of the SINGAPORE IDOL!!i am really fortunate enough to get his autograph after it ends. haha! nice 1.he has so many fans ever since brother cell told everyone abt him.im going to support him man!u ahould too!!pls show yr support by smsing.he sings quite well.oh!really wanna thank God for all of them who had the courage to share their own lives' stories to everyone.i also have all of their autograph!!yeah!just for memory..i think my friends in class really benefitted from this&plan to have a better friendship with me as well.i think they did sth for me.hope that it is sth good..we reflected on the 4-5 yrs tat we have been in STC.surprisingly,i cried.wow!powerful reflection.so embarrassing coz i made my other friends cried too.haha!God bless u all!study hard for SA1 which is coming up next! lov u lotz! good nitez.

hilo ppl! cool man... just got to know jeslyn's sister after school through meirong. it was interesting as she looks a little different from jeslyn. However, she has the same voice as jeslyn junior. so cool rite? that's how i recognise people around me. haha! i was actually shocked & surprised that her sister is in choir & can hit high notes. i thought she will follow in her sister's footsteps to have hockey as her cca.her sister is nice. we both talked to each other during doing homework time. so excited for this sat as so many people are coming for service. oh,time flies.. CA1 is starting next week already. scary! this will be a gauge of how well we are going to get during 'o' levels. as i am a slow learner, i feel that i am not going to score well in this CA1 but i am going to continue to study hard for my 'o' levels. so just wanna encourage u all to take studies seriously as well as ministry. God is going to do something wonderful through all of us. i can really sense that. let's do our best for this CA1 and score better if we had marks below our expectations for some subjects. yep. hope to know valery & kelyn more.. haha. i'm glad you guys are keeping the blog alive! and i'm really touched by the concern you've shown for each other these few days, and i've seen how God's moving in our group. i do sincerely believe in you guys, and a general encouragement to all, colossians 3:23. i knw that we're all impacted by Daniel's words and excitement is it not! aye.

tell you guys what, if we break unit once and for all, i'll cook a seven course meal. haha. i shall promise not to kill you guys. and you can help me. sherlyn said she wanted to cook pancakes with me! maybe not a seven course meal right. maybe, whole day's meal on me. haha. do believe we have the extra strength in us needed for this journey.

hello. im kinda bored after studying like BIO for like dunno how many hours. im here to share some bible verses.

i think some of us here are facing trials and periods of testing from God right now, well, i just want to encourage those people and i hope these will help coz it helped me too.

my own favourite is actually matthew 17:20

"...I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

you know, when i was facing the down times i like to read this verse because i can imagine how strong and powerful God can make you to be, but that is unless of course you have faith in Him. well, sometimes i know stuff dont really go our way and sometimes its really frustrating that things just keep going worse and worse and worse worseworseworse. but dont forget- thats the best plan God has for you/us. maybe things are not going right right now, but i think if we just take a step of faith and perservere, things may just start to work out.

also, out of James 1:2-15, i want to point out verse 6

"But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind."

i dont actually really know how to interpret this verse in blibical terms (?!) i dont know if im correct but ill try through what i learnt in literature. umm, see. "wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind". picture that in your mind. it doesnt look like a nice scene right? its like abit chaotic and stuff. so i think, if we ask, and dont put our faith in him, things might get worse or there would be no improvement. its like an empty promise, you say something, but you dont mean it. being tossed by the wind is like, there's no direction, you follow the wind and there would be no definite answer because, the wind blows in different directions. so instead of expecting enlightment from God, you may be misled by other stuff.

i dont think the word "tossed" is very nice either. its like, stuff will really get complicated and tangled and chaotic and all that. so think about it, if you are facing some troubles right now, would you like to place your faith in God?

i think thats a good choice you know. after all He's the one who created and moulded each one of us and He knows the best for us. and most importantly, He wouldnt test us beyond what we can bear. well, maybe now this problem we have is really going past the limit, but look at yourself. are you still breathing? see, you survived! maybe its time we all start to try to just hold on longer and see what miracles our God has in mind for us!

actually if you dont understand what im blabbering about above, its okay. haha. acutally i dunno how the hell i came up with that. if its wrong then just ignore it and maybe someone come delete this entry to spare me from further embarassment. anyway yeps. oh i wanna share this two quotes too

Yo ppl!! long time no blog liao... i noe u all wanted to noe wad happen to me rite.. haha! just upset abt some stuff besides my chinese results. i was so distracted during caregroup this week that i can't follow wad was weiting teaching abt. Anyway, i find that chingay is so cool!! this is the first time that i actually sat on the roadside to view the whole chingay parade- parade of dreams. i went with my cousin- Hsiao En,nicole, think u all know her by now. she brought along two friends from St Andrews Junior College. Guess what? i saw another Weiting from her school. Then, much surpisingly, i saw my ballet friend that i did not be in contact with about two years. wow... time flies.. we are all so big already!! she is my cousin's friend now.. Can u believe it? When I saw her, i was totally astonished for i knew her for over ten years since we joined ballet. At that time when we saw each other, i wanted to cry.. however i controlled my tears and we both ended up hugging each other. i think it is really God's plan to let me see her again ever since she injured herself and quitted ballet at grade 7. cool rite!! this is the day which i will never forget. i hope that the restructuring in choir- mainly the altos will bring the choir to greater heights. yep. Had been so long since I wrote an entry.wells,had been really busy n also kinda lazy.heh.
Okays.quick recap on wat happen during june holidays.

We had youth camp-The Ultimate Dare(14-16th june) which was really awesome.i definitely learnt a lot.and also CC1 gotta knw one another beta!!!i still rmb weii,zipping n myself being so cranky on the first nite!lalala.bet they will surely rmb it.n our different BF in the bible!hohos.praise n worship was really cool!shirs n the rest preach very well!we had JUMP concert on the 2nd nite!Ethan and Samuel sang la!heh.super funny.ohh..i definitely love playing captains ball in the middle of the nite!the girls(me,weii,Hannah,steffy,huiwei,june,sinyee,choonie,minzhen,jolyn)played wif some of the guys.it was super fun!injuries bt I dun care!lolz.wells,the camp definitely benefit me so so much.gotta knw mre pple being as games master.hahs.i love each n everyone who made an impact on me during the camp man.i DARE to do so much mre in the KOG!STC can be done.

We had C2 event at sentosa.lalala.so fun can..the games were really interesting.we played beach soccer,my foot gt injuries la.hohos.gotta knw mre pple in C2.yays.in fact the holdidays pass so fast.so many things happened.CG was great.had it in yiyou’s hse then olso informal ones.had WFL lessons,relationship series.kinda pack wif church stuffs.hohos.
Hmmm.now sch have reopen 4 around close to two weeks.soon tmr is the ess svc. SOW is doing fine.went wif my sheep.hahs.i m so convicted into bringing pple to knw GOD.yeahhs.two of my frenz coming 4 nxt weeks svc!yays.CC1 jiayou man!eventually our efforts wld be honoured by GOD!all the way pple.confirmation tonite!!

spring camp was really awesome. ihave definately learn so much.i have been refresh thru this camp n of cz inspired by everything n everyone & of course by my Wonderful God!so amaze by the things he does n simply his love n his presence being wif us always.^iloveDaddy.

had a really refreshing praise n worship.realising his great love 4 me so much mre.i juz wanna praise n serve n adore him wif all i m n all tt i can do.i wanna lift up my everything 4 my Dear God.i m so in love wif this Great Daddy of mine.dunno hw to explain in words bt i knw it was really nice.the 3 testimonies were really inspiring man.hw they manage time n their pple n etc.Pastor Ben gave us a message.which was definately really inspiring.Ministering time was really nice.God spoke to me n many of the many leaders there 4 sure.we had the many SDL n DL's praying 4 us one by one.felt really relieved n refreshed n totally into a heart of worship.
our accommodation was really good okays.the food was great too.at nite Central wenta eat swensen n play pool tog.bt the C2 girls(elise,angela,phoebe,weiting,me)didn't.bt we had great fellowship in elise room tt is shared tog wif winnie-CA.hohos.brot snacks n ate,watch tv tog,laugh non-stop,talk nonsense.bt was really fruitful man.finally wenta bath in mine,angela n phoebe's room.weiting suppose to slp wif the north pple bt end up in our room.lolz.in the end,all five of us slept tog.elise,weii,me slept tog.so cool.hohos.bt both weii n me had a really fruitful time talking tog as the 3 of them slept.its was really nice toking abt our things 4 like 2hrs.we only slept at 5am.n of cz we woke up ltr at 6.60am to get ready 4 the day.the three of them were so piggy can!lolz.me n weii had a'hard'time gettin them ou of bed0-right 3'converts'!hehx.

Had devotion n then breakfast.Then again Praise n worship!another wonderful time praising n worshipping our good God.ltr we had a workshop n those CL's 4 less then a yr had a discussion on our CG.learn quite a few new ideas in fact on hw to lead our pple ino God's presence.ltr we had this DDP briefing by Pastor Ben.Discipleship Development Process.Qn asked:What is our Cg's goal?.Had lunch wif our games team.each grp have pple frm youth to family grps.so its mixed up.THE AMUSING RACE is so fun okays.its was tiring bt very fun n creates bonding within the grps of diff ages.we ran frm one end to another and so many times.encouragements n support as we ran tog to each stops.no matter hw tired we are bt we still continue to presevere.my team eventually won 6th position out of 26 teams.bt we knw its nt abt the position bt hw we ran n finish the race.i realise being in a team is so impt,in our CG,we work well as a core team n eventually the whole CG will grow.as a church,the leaders lead well n definately the quality n quantity will grow 4 the church.n of cz this meant tt the WOG is spread to so many pple.In this Race 4 God we wanna finish it victoriously,our fellow sister n brother in christ are tog wif us as we encourage n spur one another on,if our releationship wif GOD is strong n sure is our wif our fellow sisters n brothers,as we all wanna do mre 4 GOD.We knw the number challenges n probs ahead are nt easy to overcome,bt Wif God & our dear sisters n brothers wif us,we will triumph victory n at the end we knw we ran a really Great race 4 God.
Spring Mania was really funny n of course there are learning points.a closing msg by all our Pastors.each Grps writing our probs tt we wanna overcome so as to do mre in God's Kingdom on a plate.n ltr keeping it in a bag n using a hammer to break it.as it meant to break this spiritual struggle we have.at the end of the day we had photo taking wif the pastors.

hmm,Gotta mek new frenz n most importantly my relationship wif God has grown closer.Indeed this Camp made me learn alot n really strongly brot out my burning desire&burden into winning the world 4 God.olso to disciple mre pple,mre leaders,C2 grow means the church grow,which all meant tt God's kingdom is expanding too.hey pple,c'mon man.there is so much to do 4 God's Kingdom.Desire to do mre,take up mre roles,be a shepherd,be a CL n even much mre.keep focus upon the main thing-STC to be a really established Unit size.it shall be done.

okie..havin a revival in cc1's blog!close to half a mth w/o an entry.heheh.too bored. oh wells,bet the whole C2 pple who were at the stayover is sleeping nw!hhahas.. except 4 me!i m pro!i slept enough juz nw!i m nt a piggy!hahas!ard 4hrs only! anw,cc1 only i stayed over.serously speaking i was kinda bored yest lahhx. the games were fun,the fellowship was great bt i tink i was basically stoning. aiya,guess i was havin a bad nite.bt i was super hyper 4 sistahood yest afternoon. perhaps i drain out my energy.but hw i wish weiting was there last nite lahhx. then she can accompany me while the rest go cycling.i 4got hw to cycle!hahas. i mean i did cycle when i was young bt i 4got 4 the longest time.so i cldn't join the rest. i stone at the shelter n look after everything like their bags n stuffs all alone!hahas.. thx god i at least have got ethan's guitar!use it to entertain myself most of the time. bt seriously speaking,i prefer sistahood to c2 event.if sistahood at nite it be beta.yeahs. ahahas,bt i did at least enjoyed myself yest lahhx.i admit i was abit irritated over smth. bt i duno wat izzit either!hahahs,as usual i m retarded.oh ya!i noe wat i enjoyed the most!

hey all.

its the last week of jan05. [cc1! listen up! some big event's coming! *wink] somehow, i guess everyone's adjusted to the new schedule and we're back on track for the new year.

last week's cg was awesome! the chin chai family! totally unique and awesomely fun! (: but i guess the most dramatic one was peiyi. yes. she wore my pants and my uncle's shirt and my senior's brother's tie. if i'm not wrong, its from SJI? hahas.

seriously. i just wanna say that i'm so grateful for this family. i simply cannot imagine life without You, and the cc1 people. you people have really touched my life in a way that wasn't impossible before. where there was darkness, now there's light. no words can describe this feeling that goes beyond gratitude, beyond emotion and transcends deep within the soul.

life would be meaningless without You, oh God. i realize it all too well. day after day, going to school, staying back, going home and sleeping. the same old boring rountine. as usual. but with You in the picture, the colors are no longer black and white. its full of bright vibrant colors. that makes this life i'm living worthwhile.

living life on the edge. stc for christ. no longer are we gonna sit there like baby ducklings for converts to come. now we go ALL out. despite it [ the problems we might face] all, we believe. and belief is a wonderful force that makes the impossible possible.
